Reset LinkGrids Registry entry
Specifies that when the cursor is in a table when a new record is added, the cursor will display in the top left cell of the table (rather than remaining in the last cell in which it was located).
If a cursor is in a cell in a table when a new record is added, the default behavior is for the cursor to remain in the same cell of the table in the new record. During data entry it would often be preferable for the cursor to move to the first cell in the table.
The purpose of this Registry entry is to reset the cursor to the top left cell of a link grid when a user adds a new record:
- If set to
true
, the cursor will move to the top left cell of a link grid when a user adds a new record. - If set to
false
(or the entry is absent), the cursor remains in the same cell it was in prior to the user adding a new record.
